Flickr's recent weird downtime for groups & sets isn't going to allow me to link to the transfers I used, but I put a link to what I think is the right page in my most recent blog post ( http://www.whatmegmakes.com/?p=798 ) about these projects -- because I know you'll ask!



It only took me a few hours to finish Ms. Hottie, she's my first embroidery project in years!  She's about 7 inches tall on a tea towel.



Here's a photo of her in progress...



& I loved the series so much I've started another tea towel!

Thanks for all the nice comments!

Especially about the satin stitch... I hate hate hate hate hate satin stitch, both doing it & how it looks from person to person.  I dislike the edges of it a lot of the time (on my work & others,) so I always plan to line it with a backstitch. 

It's just one of those things Cheesy
