That scissor fob is brilliant and the perfect accessory for your new scissors Smiley  Love the colours you chose...it's so calming!

I'm trying to use a wider variety of colors than in the past.  My color choices used to run mostly to cool colors, but I'm trying to branch out a bit.  The results are pleasing.  In the past, I would have passed up the yellow 22 ct Hardanger at the LNS; this time, I bought it, used it and liked the results.

I have no idea how you did what you did, but WOW - the end product is fabulous!  I don't have the time or patience for counted cross stitch anymore, so I know this is not a project for me to try, but I really think these are just beautiful.

Thank you!  Would you believe there's not a single counted cross stitch in the whole thing?  It's satin stitch, Smyrna crosses, Algerian eyelets and a bit of needle weaving on the front and Scottish stitch and reverse Scottish stitch on the back.  Add some buttonhole stitches on the needlebook and that's all the embroidery.  Sew on some beads, make a bit of cording, and voila, 'tis done.
