I've been wearing this for a while, and it's not the warmest hat around, but I likes it so!

I made that hat too, from green and tan Paton's Classic Wool Merino. Except I didn't like it, so it's going to charity.

I went and bought the Manos del Uruguay that the pattern called for, but now I have a lot of gray and light purple (and expensive!) yarn that I'm not sure what to do with. I'm thinking about designing some matching mittens or something.

Very pretty! I like the palette you chose. Is the pattern from Knitty or Knit Wit? Good job!

Thanks thanks!
It's from knit wit, and I have to admit that I bought the book specifically to make this hat. I do intend to make other things from it, but much, much later.
