Okay, so here is my first challenge! I'm going to a wedding 1 May and I'm not allowed to wear pants, which s a big dilemma because I mostly ONLY wear pants. The dress code is formal - another dilemma because I don't really own any formal clothing, and the last problem - it's quite cold out here at the moment, about 14C... I'm also unemployed at the moment so I don't have cash to spend. I do however have some fabric that I received in the 'Givers and Needers Swap' so I'm going to challenge myself to design myself an outfit and use the fabric that I've got. Let's see if I am able to come up with something wearable before Saturday....

Does revamping your entire personal wardrobe count as a "clothing line?" The plan is for there to one day be a line, but I don't currently much look like a designer of any sort. So I'm changing everything.

Is anyone making progress on this craftalong at all?

I'm pretty sure that counts!! I've decided to abandon my participation in this craftalong. I've come to realize that I don't have the skills to design clothing from scratch - I first need to learn how to design my own patterns from scratch...

I always figured it was more fun to design the piece on a dummy, then deconstruct it afterwards to get the pattern, if you really needed it for anything. Mind you, drawing is my weak spot, so I try to avoid it.
