A shopping cart website made by a company/individual can cost you some money. But if you are willing to take some time and learn free open source content management systems such as  osCommerce or Zen Cart then you can achieve what you want to do.

For a blog page with a store features I recommend Wordpress because you can add your etsy mini or rss your handmade shop into your blog anyway you want.

I would recommend using pagebuzz.com because you can have a website that you can create and update yourself, with a shopping cart, 12 hour a day/7 days a week fantastic customer service, and web hosting all for only $9.99 per month.  I believe that they even provide a blog.

If you can type you can create your own website with pagebuzz.com without knowing any HTML.

They have a ton of templates to choose from.

Yep, I was going to suggest them, too!  I just started mine up this month with them.  You can use the simple side of it, or if you're a little more experienced, used the advanced side of it.  And yes, they have tons of templates to use!  That was the hardest part, picking out your "look"!  Good luck!
