Hello All,

This is my first post! I am making a garter belt for my boyfriend's cousin who is getting married.

I decided to post this  project so I can get some feedback from my fellow craftsters. Please tell me what you think.  Grin

Btw, I don't have photography skills so please don't mind the horrible pictures. Thanks for looking.  Smiley

Life is too short to wear boring clothes.

It's lovely!  Did you put elastic in it to hold it up?  I'm about to start making my own garter, so if you have any tips that would be great! Smiley

Thank you! I don't think it was hard to make, it just takes a lot of time, dedication and patience. It's actually quite fun. Smiley

Thanks!  Smiley Yeah, I used the elastic that are especially used for pajama pants and undergarments. I find that those elastics are more comfortable to use.

When is comes to making garters I think keeping it simple is best. My original design was very complicated with loads of accessories and charms hanging here and there. So then I decided to keep it nice and simple and that is what I came up with. Making garters are fun but as I mentioned earlier, they take a lot of time and patience. It is also a nice project to keep you busy.
