I purchased the structure at hobby lobby.... if you have those in your area they had several sizes.... The project evolved (devolved) from something else to that....The windows were covered over with plastic so that nothing could fall out and you could still see in.... I took a ton of pictures of what was showing through the windows and the coverings..... I knew I wanted the whimsies to be peeking through the "jar" and after several attempts the house finally found me..... Thank you for all of the complements....

I have been away for a long time but I am looking forward to getting into swaps and everything craftster again!  I am open to personal swaps!  I would love to do one for Halloween!

I received my box of whimsies from Velvet Rose yesterday! I was able to take pictures of all my loot tonight - here we go...

Here is the lovely whimsy box - I love the lace!

...and here's the inside with all the whimsies! Many of them were in adorable drawstring pouches.

Wonderful papery whimsies! And, super-cute decorated matchboxes with wee whimsies inside.

Some delightfully random bits of whimsy, including a felted daisy and the cutest little koi fish figure

A bunch of charms and beaded whimsies

Cute little wooden cut outs of fairies and such

A sparkly pouch full of sparkly stars *shimmer shimmer*

More random whimsies, including a teeny origami pad and a tin of whimsies

Thank you  Grin

I received an amazing package from frogangel today!

She actually crafted me TWO wonderful containers! First, a cupcake giftbag:

And inside that, a crocheted cupcake box:

This is a shot of everything (including the inside of the cupcake, with clever little pockets):

Here's some detail shots.

Stickers, ribbon, embellishments, all sorts of whimsy goodness.

SO MANY BEADS! *drool*

Small crafted items. The flower and the jack-o-lantern are both pins.

This is crafted too, but didn't make it into the last picture.

Not included are close-ups of the fabric pieces, trims, and MANY scrapbook/decoupage papers.

I love everything in my "jar," but these are my favorites:

Frogangel and I also swapped memory cards with pictures of our hometowns/surrounding areas. She sent me a whopping 149 pics, but here are my three favorites:

Thank you frogangel! You were an awesome swap partner!

Those cupcakes are great. The pockets inside were very clever.
More great photography, I love the sunbeams streaming through the clouds.

Yay blue_lalita, you received your package! I'm really glad you like everything. The pictures you chose to share are my favs too. I took those while we were up at the lake one afternoon. It was really fun finding and crafting for you and you were an awesome partner also. Thank you again.  Grin

I love the box with the lace. Sort of old feeling. The cup cake is great! I can't believe that 2 of us decided to use cake as a theme! Cheesy

I love the cupcake!  I kinda copped out on this swap (sorry!!) and sent a vintage tin rather than a crafted "jar" but I thought it was quite cool.  I certainly don't expect to win the contest.
