as a rabid (ha) cat lover, i have to say that bag RULES.

every time you open it it'd feel like a cat autopsy. neat!

I can imagine the dead cat purse made out of fun fur... you could even run a car over light colored fur to have the tire marks printed on it... or just run the car over the finished product. Or stencil the tread marks. You could dip a bicycle wheel in black paint and roll it over the purse as well.  And maybe I'd add a little pink tongue sticking out the corner of the mouth.

What about a roadkill purse? making a racoon instead of the cat, or an opossum.

Or making a dead cat stole.  Grin

As a disclaimer: I have cats of my own and love them to pieces... but i certainly can see the humor in this!

I cut out my fabrics and everything and then I realized, I have absolutely no idea how the lining is sewn together (lining to lining, or lining to outer fabric) inside the bag.
I can't wait to start!

I love that bag sooooo much. You said it was inspired by a friend's comment. I wonder what kind of comment would inspire you to make a dead cat bag? Way cute!
