I just had a brilliant idea!!  Totally changed my mind! I liked the other idea, but this is just sweet!  Cheesy
And now I think I might be able to go to bed now that I have it all hashed out.

I've been thinking my ideas through and getting supplies, now I just need to get started! Re the forked tails, I get the impression that it's as if the dragon's tail splits into two at the end (rather than having a triangular bit at the end like a devil's forked tail). Does that seem right?

pooped that I missed it.

I got just my son(14) hooked on the Pern series, just need to find a few more books to complete his set so he will leave mine alone.

Do you mean used books?  I don't have any problem finding them new, course I snap them up right after they are published! They are such good books I can see everybody wanting to keep them.

Very true. I think they are the type of book people want to reread. I know I do.

I read all the Pern books and nearly all of Anne's books in general back when I was in middle and high school (13 or more years ago). I probably would have done this swap if they were fresher in my mind. I will stalk the gallery and reminisce, though.

I did want to share a little crafty connection. Elizabeth Ann Scarborough, one of Ms. McCaffrey's co-authors, is a very talented and prolific beadwork artist. Here's a link to her work. http://www.eascarborough.com/beads/ecabworkfol/ecabwork.htm

thank you for the link Feast Your Eyes! that is amazing beadwork, and I have always been impressed with Elizabeth Anne Scarborough. I have all the PTB series she did with Anne McCaffrey too...  Roll Eyes

progress report - I think I know what I am doing for the large, and that is as far as I have gotten.
