Ok, this is my first post showing something I made w/pictures, so I hope it works!  This is a wedding cake table I sewed up for a friends' daughter's wedding.  It's a cake table that's supposed to look like a cake.  The first pic is from a distance and shows glued on string of pearls at the bottom, as in icing, and the second pic shows the tops edge with more fake frosting!  I was quite happy with it, but now looking at the pics I see some unevenness in parts of it.  I hope you like it! **crosses fingers and hopes the links work!**

P.S:  can anyone tell me how to put pictures directly on my post without having a link?  I've seen lots of posts that you pull up and get to see the pictures without having to click on a link and go elsewhere.

Ooooh, very pretty!!

To insert pictures in your post, return to your photo album on here (via the links you posted, will work!).  Scroll below the image and you will see the code to copy and paste into your post.

YAY, pictures!!  To get the little thumbnail next to your thread, the pictures have to be in the first post.  So edit/modify your very first post and add the pictures there.

thank you, and it was a lot of fun, too.  The bride even let me keep it afterwards so now I have yards of this luscious brown satin material!

Can't wait to see what you do with that fabric.  It looks "chocolaty" or wine color.

yes, it's very chocolatey, but I really have no idea what to make with it.  I have about 8 yards of the stuff, anyone have any ideas for me?
