when my stpedaughter packed up to go stay with her mom, she cleaned out her closet. she left these two gems, which were going to do into the donation pile until i got inspired...

the first one i turned into a tote bag to give her grandmother for a present. the two of them have always been close and when i decided to make her a bag (she was jealous of one i made for an auction at her work). i knew this would be right up her alley...

this one i decided to make something for myself. it's different than any other i've carried, too... but i like it.

i love that it has the pockets on the outside so i can easily get to my cell phone.
i've become fascinated with reconstructing clothes into purses. i have more items i think i'll make into more bags (because we all need more bags right  Wink )

*edit- fixed the links. my regular website is down, moved them to photobucket.
