My boyfriend had surgery for his deviated septum last Friday and has been neti-potting all week (yes, it's a verb now).  I love this.  I'll have to send it to him since he's been The Most Miserable Man in the World all week.

Hahahaha... you know about my try with the Neti Pot recently and I thought that picture was soooo stupid.  I am so glad you embroidered it!

When I saw this, I said to Alex, "Oh my god, someone embroidered the Neti Pot thing... hahahaha..." and then clicked on it, and then I said, "Oh my god, it was Autumn..."

Ha!  This rocks.  Amazing.  Looks fantastic.  Cheesy

I saw something entirely different in the hot new topics thumbnail made me go OMG it wasn't marked mature,  I got a huge laugh when I realized what it actually was.  I think I need to pull my mind out of the gutter (again) lol

I'm glad you found this, Jeni... I knew you'd appreciate it! Hehe.

And neti pots are definitely SFW so no worries there. Wink

I have never heard of a Neti Pot. I am kind of disturbed but really intrigued. Your embroidery, however, is not disturbing and is great.

A few years ago I was at a friend's house and spotted a plastic bag on the floor that had line drawings on it. I picked up the bag and realized that it was a series (not just one, but a full SERIES) of technical illustrations of how to put on a pair of socks. He let me keep the bag (he thought I was crazy) but I've never done anything with the pictures. (I know, I'm a pack-rat. Who keeps a plastic bag for years?)

But now I know what I'm going to do with them! Get out the Embroidery Needle! Because otherwise the world will forget how to put on a pair of socks!

Awesome! Please do share those when they're done! Cheesy

And I just always wonder... who is the person whose job it is to draw those icons? It seems like there is one for everything. Craziness.
