Ahh! Sorry for the PM mix up, rectangel and IamSusie! It took me two days to figure out why rectangel responded to my "Recieved" pm instead of IamSusie. But I woke up at 3am this morning and realized that I sent my pm to the worng person. Oy.

I dream of a house covered with your art, and would love a personal swap. Pm me if you'd like to spread the crafty love! I also need blue fabric scraps for a scrap quilt!

Just got mego's towel finished in the nick of time and sent out today after a five hour embroidery marathon last night. I'm pretty proud of myself for being on time.

I got ThirdMargaret's towel in the mail today. I traced my design with my iron on pen while I was sitting at work bored out of my mind! I'll iron on either tonight or in the morning and get started.

Recieved Aada's towel today. It's so awesome...I send one out one day and get another another day later! I love it when a plan comes together!  Wink

Thanks sixblueirises!  I have a feeling I'm going to be doing the same to meet my deadline Cheesy Thank goodness we're going on a day trip friday, plenty of time to embroider in the car!

so, i have a rather inane question! i would like to use a drawing i found on flickr for my embroidery. his creative commons tag on the drawing says this: No Derivative Works You may not alter, transform, or build upon this work.

now, does this mean i couldn't embroider it, or that as long as i give him credit it is fine? (relevant because he hasn't answered mail regarding my use and doesn't seem to have been on his blog either!)

i have another design in mind, i am just curious as to how this works! obviously, i would make a horrid copyright lawyer.  Wink

Well . . . after being sick for over a week now (sigh), I am FINALLY over the hump of the crud I have (not the flu, thank goodness!) and have some of my energy back and can focus on stitching again.

I have waffled back and forth over several design ideas for rectangel's apron for days but nothing ever said "me! me! I am THE design!!". However, when at Hobby Lobby last night, I found a book of retro embroidery patterns and one in particular let me know it is The One Smiley so tonight I will start stitching . . . finally!!

By the way, stitching after rectangel, kittykill, and aada . . . somewhat intimidating! . . . their stitches are all so tiny and neat!!! Very gorgeous stuff. It's also very cool to see kittykill's color-tinting in person.

AADA - I'd ask him to be sure. Just tell him you are not selling it, its just for a friend. I don't see why he'd say no.
