Ever since I first laid eyes on the light blue cardigan on the cover of the AV Spring 2005 booklet, I've been obsessed with making it. Forget the WIP-backlog,  look at this baby:
http://www.handworksgallery.com/avs05kt1.htm

The booklet is available in yarn stores and online, and I for one will definitely be yarn-substituting. (my budget may cover designer patterns but not designer yarn!)
It's not particularly easy, but just think...it'll be just the thing to go over a spring (or summer...or fall...) dress--let's tackle it together!

I'm crazy about this cardi too.  It seems like every time I open up a knitting magazine, it screams at me.  I have so much going on now though that I can't start right away.  Maybe next month.  Maybe.  I'm working on the Lucky Wrap from SNBN so I'm not sure I want to tackle another lace cardigan so quickly.

Aww, I guess for now it will be a knitalone Smiley Considering the kinds of ripping I'm doing on this baby (I think I may have done the lace pattern completely wrong and might start over), might not be a bad thing. If you're interested, you can follow my lack of progress at http://crochety.blogspot.com

I've been considering trying to adapt this pattern into a shorter bolero.  I haven't seen the pattern anywhere outside of magazines.  But I do want to knit it.

I haven't been able to find this in any of my LYSs. Where did you manage to find it?
