Thanks again, everyone!

frubaloo, I just drew the outline on the white felt & cut it out, glued some black felt to the back (just so that his eye sockets would be black no matter what he was pinned onto) & cut that out around the white (I cheated and drew the nostrils with marker) and sewed on a pinback.

SassetteOPants, I have to agree about the wire. I think I'm going to include it from now on, and hope that people will get the nod to Evil Dead 2.  I'm also going to google Rick Griffin.  Smiley

...and yes, that's precisely what a felt drawer is. I like to imagine myself playing in it like a sand box (even though it's actually just regular drawer size). Everyone should have one! Grin

Question: does it look like a flaming eyeball, or an eyeball with guts still attached??? (I don't actually know what's attached to the back of an eyeball...nerves and tendons and stuff, I guess... I figured "guts" is pretty all-encompassing.  Wink)
