so, i was bored yesturday, and i decided to do something with the ball of awesome purple fuzy yarn i had. i only had one ball, so i couldn't do much (i have a wee bit left over still.) i made this, but i'm not sure that i like it.

actually, i kinda made the pattern up. i've seen similar looking things around, but i kinda just winged it. lots of trial and error. i knit two rectangles for the sleeves, seamed them up, then i made another rectangle for the back and stiched them all together. i used a drop stitch pattern and size 15US needles, cause i didn't have much yarn.

I really really like that! I'm making one! Could you tell me how you did the drop stitch pattern? Was it every other stitch dropped, or something?

i just used:

Row 1: *yo k1* repeat.
Row 2: *drop yo, k1* repeat.

repeat etc...

Thank you! I plan on having one finished tomorrow! Are you going to name it or just call it Fuzzy Purple Thing? =) I know it's uncomplicated but I've never seen such an easy, fun shrug and I'm excited. You should be very proud of that original crafty brain of yours.
