I love owls but not all owls, only cute retro owls.  Cheesy  I made two towels yesterday with an owl applique on my embroidery machine.  I did two different size and ended up really liking the larger size better.  Thanks for looking at my owlies.  Smiley

I LOVE these!  Soo adorable  Grin<3  The fabric you used and their little expressions are perfect.  Way cuter than any towels you find at the store.

It's a machine that makes life a whole lot easier. lol  Instead of hand stitching designs or using a sewing machine an embroidery machine has a computer with designs and you just let it stitch it out for you.  They are soo much fun, you can embroider your name, pictures and much more. Smiley

Thank you for the kind words.  Smiley I love owlies too. My neighbor has a screech owl that lives in her owlie house in a tree in her yard.  It is beautiful.

I highly recommend this design, it stitches out fast and is well done.

Super job on the towels. How have they handled being washed?  I read that the waffley towels need to be washed a few times before embroidering on them - shrinkage  Shocked
I'm just curious.  I haven't done anything on the waffley ones yet.  I keep saying I will but always forget to pick some up oddly enough!

Mine wash up fine. I have seen where some have had a problem with the waffle weave but so far mine have held up, even the applique is fine.

Those are AWESOME!!!  I was wondering how people made appliques look so nice, and I guess I found my answer - an embroidery machine!

Can you tell me what kind you use?

Lique:  I purchased this same file from Tigerlillyhill today.  It did not come with a dieline like I am used to.  How did you make yours with no dieline? I am new to this, have only had my machine for under 2 months....

I guess I could just print the entire file and figure it out but if you can help me, it would be much appreciated..

Hi, sorry, am seeing this message now.  I don't know about a die line. I just place my item to be embroidered on the hoop and stitch out the first color which is the outline and then place your fabric over it and then stitch and then keep going until it's all done.
