Despite my attempts to always use a cloth shopping bag, I still have quite a collection of plastic bags (which are useful for dogs and baby related catastrophes).  The collection is quite ugly, so I tried to find a way to make it more pleasant to look at.  Hence the fancytown plastic bag holder.

I think "Fancytown" is one of my new favorite descriptions.

Ok, this is just about as cute as it can get.  Is this from a pattern, or did you make it up?  Either way, it's a great idea and looks good too.

This may not happen, since I have had major surgery on my shoulder.

This is way cuter than the bag holders where you pull the bags out of the elasticized bottom. I also think the "fancytown"  description is one of the best.

I made up the pattern.  It's basically 3 rectangles and was pretty easy to put together. I like it way better than the elastic bag holders.  This also received compliments from the husband as well as a request for one for the downstairs.  Smiley
