I added bra cups (cut from a worn-out bra) so I could wear it without a strapless bra that is forever falling down yet still showing in the back.

My take on the infinity dress


It's probably just my color choice, on sale grey, but this dress makes me don a crown of ivy and get in line for beer pong.

I didn't realize my tank top tan was that bad. Guess I won't be wearing this dress this summer.







Blue, green, and grey t-shirt skirt
I posted this in recon but I think it's fair to post here too because the t-shirt scraps don't keep any aspects of the original shirts except for the bottom hem. I learned an important lesson with tiered skirts: runch up the bottom tier first and sew up tier by tier.

I inherited this pattern from my grandma. I can't decide if I like it with the shirt out or tucked in.


Does it make me look too short?





Paneled skirt from 70s flowered curtain fabric
I just made it up as I went.



Indian inspired long pink skirt
I bought the fabric and after having it in my stash for a good two years couldn't picture it being anything but a long skirt. I with I could have made it a few inches longer but it was only 36" fabric.

I made these by tracing an old pair of soffees.

I really like this shirt and will try making view C next time I have some knit fabric lying around.

I don't like the way my machine does button holes so the buttons are just sewn on with snaps on the back.

I love all of these, especially the tweed look skirt which I think looks best with the top tucked in (I've got a real thing for high waisted skirts at the moment and would probably whack a giant belt on to it!)

Wow, I am very impressed on everything you have done. I know what you mean about issues with buttonholes.  I don't care for the buttonholes on my "new" Elna (circa 1989), so I use my old Singer (circa 1948).
