This is my first attempt at a stuffed animal. I am giving her to my boyfriend's neice for her first birthday in a few weeks.

I made up the pattern and everything while I went along. I had the fabric left over from another project. It's a purple fleece. I drew a freehand outline of a bunny on it and cut out two. I then embroidered a little pink face to the front half and sewed jingle bells to the inside of the ears (since this was going to someone so young I thought it'd be safe to put the bells on this inside so they are enclosed and don't pose a chocking hazard). I sewed the halfs together and stuffed her. When you shake her the bells jingle!

Here's some pics:

And a close up of her face:

Thank you for looking. I'm so proud of my first stuffie and I wanted to share her.

You should be proud! She's cute. One day I'll try to make a stuffie, but for now, I'm not as brave as you.

Thank you for the responses. I was afraid to attempt this at first, but now I want to try some more elaborate ones.
