My vote is for a three way swap (A-B, B-C, C-A if I'm not mistaken?) unless someone really wants two partners - three way seems to work better than double partners.  Although..this is a quick and easy swap, so maybe it doesn't matter.

I can't wait to really get started!  I've started a few things already, but obviously they will only work if my partner likes the colours I'm using.

I agree itchyfingers.
But if someone is really itching to do two partners then they can go for it.
I think three way would be easier as well, but if someone is very against being in the three way group please tell me immediately as I am starting to make partners

How did you like doing the Bella Mittens I have seen those and I do want to make them but I have to many projects like making sock monkeys and socks for my hubby.

With the exception of practicing my knit and purl on a swatch, the bella's mittens were my first knitting project.  I had some gray yarn laying around (acrylic) and did one mitten with that using dpns.  Hated the yarn and bought some better stuff and tried the circular needles.  I actually like the circular needles much better than the dpns and will avoid dpns if I can help it, which, so far,  i've been able to.

I was surprised at how easy the pattern was, I think it was just the length of the pattern that was scaring me, but I finally just jumped in and did it. So glad I did.

Re: the odd number of participants... the 3 way is just fine with me.  I've purchased some cotton yarn and am itching to find out who my partner is so I can do some "stalking".  There are so many great patterns out there!

I am so excited to get started.  It doesn't matter to me about much as far as color or anything like that.

Thanks for the info on the Bella mittens my niece wants them and I did not want to hate making them.  I do not mind DPNs  I do all my socks and most of my hats on them.

The length is what stops me I thought I might get bored.

Nope, not bad at all.  The only thing I goofed on was the cables... I was reading the instructions wrong and did the cables opposite of how they were supposed to be done, so I frogged it and started over.  I was just overthinking, and when I looked back I don't know what the heck I was thinking.

On a progress note:  I've made one item and have started a second.  New pattern and is coming along nicely.
