Well I am in the whimsies swap and we decided this go we were going to have a contest to see who could come up with the coolest container. I have been wanting to make one of these since I was bitten by the whimsies bug. OMG if I would have known how cool it could have turned out I would have done this forever ago. I will be making one of these for myself.
It is the size of a human head, filled as full as I could get it. This beauty can take a pounding let me tell ya. Smiley
This is the one I made to give away as the prize. I love it so much it will be hard to part with. It now lives on our kitchen island for us to enjoy until it finds it's new home. This had all kinds of possible uses. OK with out further ado I give you a head full of whimsies..

wow!  Where did you find this head?

And really, where do you find all of the awesome whimsie fillers?  I don't think I'd want to empty that one!  Very cool.

The sign ups just started you can still join. Smiley

I got the head at Pier One Imports

And I have tons of whimsies stuff that I have collected over the years. It actually was easy to fill. Smiley
Glad folks like it though. It really is even cooler in person. I am the one that filled it and it is fun to look at and see what you can find.

The head is made of recycled glass by the way.

Oh wow - that's one of those glass heads at Pier One? I've looked at those and wanted one but talked myself out of it ("no no no, you have more stuff than surfaces to put it on! walk away from the shiny thing!"). It really looks fabulous!

I know, I talked myself into it because I knew I was going to give it away for this swap but now I want to go back and get some of my own. I am thinking this would be really cool with tiny white lights in it as well.
