Just wanted to show off again  Wink

This is me wearing it.

This is what it was originally designed for Smiley To a maternity-tunic for my sister.

And finally my sister wearing it. We're the same height so one can see how much the hem expands  Grin

Thank you 4 watching.

Aww that's so nice!
I thought it was gorgeous before knowing that it was maternity wear but it is soooo pretty on a pregnant belly! I love how there's plenty of room to grow in and still cover your belly. The little pleats are a really nice touch too.
Fantastic work!

Thanks! This one I really hated to do... the fun was over after I figured out how to do the pleats. And the yarn was so ugh. It's some mohair, and it was nearly impossible to tame  Angry And then my sis wears it inside out. I told her that, but she got almost furious (yeah, I know it was the hormones Wink ) and continued to wear it so...

This is really cool. Its one of those tops that could be worn when pregnant and after having the baby as well. I love the colour too!

Really great concept and execution. Simple, flattering, practical. I think if I ever get pregnant I might try reinterpreting something like this in fabric, with a contrasting pattern insert in the pleats. Knitting would be better, but I think I'd want to reserve my knitting time for making baby stuff.;-)
