wow! I've never thought about knitting pictures like that.
But then again, I really suck at colourchanging so I could never get it as neat as you've managed. I'm deeply impressed!

You should go for it!  All it really takes is a bit more time and concentration - the technique itself is deceptively easy, once you get the hang of it.  ^_~  I'm a sucker for knitted images, so I like to see others' work.  <3

Just start by alternating random colors.  You could make a short piece that's red on the left and blue on the right, then after a few rows, put a bar of yellow in the middle, and after that, try to make a shape, like a triangle, and then something more complicated, like the letter O.  Keep building up until you feel like you could take on things like people and scenery, stuff like that.  ^_~
