The entire costume is awesome, but my favorite part is the claws!! What kind fo adhesive did you use to attach them? And how do you get them off again without destroying them??

This may be a silly question but how is the mask attached?

Your whole "costume" is fantastic, the accessories are beautifully done.
The only thing that "shocked" me is the whiteness and neatness of the skin. A shaman living in the woods should have a darker/dirtier appereance I think.
Otherwise good job on the rest.

The adhesive was something that came with a set of Halloween costume claws - it was the only non-permanent nail adhesive I could find.  It's kind of like really sticky latex adhesive.  The claws just pulled right off when we were done.  They're still all sticky on the backs though, the adhesive was supposed to come off with warm water, but it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.  The model had to scrub the hell out of it to get off the bits of adhesive that clung to her skin.

This may be a silly question but how is the mask attached?

The mask is attached with the same adhesive I used on the claws.

Thanks very much.  You're probably right about the dirt - I didn't put as much thought or time into the makeup aspect of the costume as I should have.  We may have to do another photo shoot at some point, I also forgot one of the major costume pieces, a shoulder guard thing that I spent a good chunk of time making.

I saw this when you first posted it via my phone and was unable to post, but now that i've found it again on my normal computer let me say this.. defiantly either my first or second most favorite thing i've ever seen on craftster. You did a beautiful job. I hope one day I'll have the time and patience to create similar pieces.

I seriously adore this costume. You did a great job with every bit of it, from the mask to the skull to all of the details on you skirt and nails.

Practically speechless!  Wink
