After having made some bags and purses for friends, my sister and for swap partners, I thought I should make a bag for myself.
Here's the Taxi Tote (from Seams to Me by Anna Maria Horner) I made with Amy Butler fabric
It's not completely fnished yet, I'm still looking for a big button, wooden or fabric covered.

How about if you make your own button? Poly clay? Beaded?
