I have been wanting to make this clapochet for a long time, I was totally intimidated at first then I could not find the right yarn. So I bought some Universal Yarn Poems for a purse, started the purse hated it and let it sit in the closet then I thought I could use for this pattern. 5 1/2 skiens later I was done! Great pattern, looks complicated but really isn't.

Link for pattern: http://crochetkitten.blogspot.com/2009/02/clapochet.html

And PICS!

I love it too!  The yarn works perfectly with the pattern.  I had tried and burned out on the knit version of Clapotis a while back, but didn't know there was a pattern for something similar in crochet.  I may give this a try myself!
