Baby is here - at long last!!

I didn't think I'd get to this one, because I knew I wanted to bake and it's been so stinking hot in my house for the last week.  Finally, the weekend brought rain, and with it, cookies!  This was very time consuming and in the end, I wish I had done things a bit differently, but oh, well - it's too late now!
I decided I wanted a spool of thread, and that was the worst of it.  The thing kept falling over and the angel hair "thread" kept leaking water onto the icing sugar and water glue I was using.  That of course made the glue pretty useless.  And then I had to take photos really quickly because the spool was falling over!  Bah!  Oh, well, the beads themselves are cute. Smiley

Cookies!!!  Beads!! Cookie beads!

The leaning tower of blurry angel hair thread.

The whole thing.  On a cake plate.  Looking very poorly lit. Sad

Another view: bracelet and necklace with "seed beads" in the bowl to the right.

I love this idea.  It reminds me of when I used to do crafts with my mom when I was really little, and we'd make all sorts of jewelry out of the big wooden beads that were super easy to string.  Too bad that yours seem to have caused you a bit more difficulty, but they definitely look much better.

They look delicious.. I'd be reluctant to eat them though, because of how pretty they are. Ha. Smiley

I should have been reluctant to eat them..I finished them off a bit too fast and made myself feel sick. Smiley
