i am late posting this(prom was the 3rd of july) but better late than never!
As soon as i had gotten into sewing, i knew i would make my own dress. the night got closer and closer and all i knew was that i wanted a tartan one.
in a stroke of luck i found a massive kilt in a record/vintage odds and ends shop and used that.
The dress is lined with an old bed sheet and has contrast details of bright pink ribbon.i had a pink bow in my hair and pink nails. i wore black knee high socks with tiny white bows(i added myself),white trainers and a union jack bag with a chain handle.and a vintage french silf scarf as a wrap aaaand leopard print sunglasses,pearls and gold chains as bracelets and a kilt pin on a chain.

).i didnt wear the jeans to prom and wore the chains on my wrists. i got the jacket to wear on the night but it was far too hot in the end

I think the fact i come from a punk background and i enjoy the whole london fashion thing really shows
