Unfinished Crafts Need A New Home!!

My mom joined craftster last month because she is deeply jealous of the trading of ideas, and definately... of the swaps. She had an idea that she was too shy to post, so I told her I would feel everyone out for ideas.
What about an unfinished project swap? We can swap half done blankets, collections of granny squares, quilt squares, if you can ship it, we can swap it! We also send the supplies needed to finish the craft. She thought of this because she has quite a few LARGE granny squares that she has that she was working on when she was going through a divorce with my dad. Years later, they don't have the same meaning, but she can't bear to take them apart because of all the hard work she put into them.

I love this idea!
I'm one of the few crafters in my family and immediate living area, so when someone starts something that they don't feel like finishing I inevitably end up with it.
The end result is that I have a closet full of mystery squares and shapes and scraps and no idea where they were heading with whatever they were trying to accomplish.
If anyone needs strips of blankets, halves of jackets, or mismatched squares I would be more than happy to ship them over.
These little guys deserve to be loved!

Only thing is, I finally gave away the rest of the fluffy baby pink yarn for the 3' x 6' strip of crocheted shell stitch afghan in one of the giver/needer swap... Then again, it would look neat as a striped one with different colors. Add that to the WHAT WAS I THINKING pile!
