Just throwing up some pics of the latest Tabistry sun hat made for someone in the Red Hat Society.  It's made from can tabs that most likely came off Arizona or large beer cans.

Thanks for looking.  Smiley

It's beautiful, but isn't it heavy?  Shocked

Thanks.  Nope, not heavy.  It's actually pretty light being made of aluminum.  I would say it has just the right amount of weight to keep it from blowing off your head when it's windy.

One of the most attractive tin foil hats I've ever seen! (sorry, couldn't help myself.)

Seriously, that's a really pretty hat! Wish I could make it with bottle caps, though then my hair would smell like root beer (the number of IBC bottle caps in this house increases daily).

Actually, the problem is that I have a lack of can tabs, and an overabundance of bottle caps.  Smiley

You make some amazing things!!

Thanks, everyone.  More projects are on the way, soon.  Just can't stop.  Smiley

I'm sure you'll find a use for them.  I could swap you some tabs for caps, if you like.  All I ever seem to collect are beer caps and a small amount of Coke/Dr. Pepper.
