A simple mug cozy that I knitted to use up some leftover wool.

I also used a leftover button from my Shalom Cardigan.

These would be good to use as extra presents to put into christmas stockings.

Haha this is pretty cute.
I might have a go at it using some random yarn I have lying around.

This is adorable! I am a coffee fanatic and so are many of my friends, not to mention I work in a coffee shop-- So a pattern to these would be great! ;]

The pattern that I used is from Ravelry. If you go to www.ravelry.com and search coffee cup cozy in the patterns section it will come up.

I would like to make something similar for a friend and really like this one, but would like it to fit a range of coffee cup sizes.  Is there any stretch to it longwise or would you need to plan it for one cup?

You could always just knit the end bits a bit longer and put some extra buttons and holes.  Mine does stretch a little bit so it fits a few different cups but not a lot.
