Personal swaps are not encouraged or supported by Craftster.  This is only a thread to post pictures from your personal experiences.  Personal swaps are not and cannot be tracked in Swap Feedback on profiles and should not be linked to Craftster's Organized Swaps in any way.

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers! Wink

Each month a new gallery will be started.  If you have received from a personal/private swap, within this portion of the year, feel free to post pictures here!   Grin

A while back lovesclutter and I decided to do a personal swap.  She received the poppet from me, the post office lost the fabric she sent me.  But on my crazy death-wish road trip through half of the country, I was able to stop and meet her.  And she brought me fabric!  Tons of fabric!  Thank you so much, lovesclutter, I can't wait to start sewing.

All of my goodies

My favorites- some beautiful Asian fabric.

yay, thanks again!

Well, I'm so glad you liked it and can't wait to see a few poppet kimonos if the pieces are big enough. <3

ETA, if you can figure out what that big diamond ring is used for let me know. I have one just like it. Smiley

It's a keyring!  I think?  http://www.hotref.com/engagement-ring-keychain-wedding-favors-p-1792.html

Or a napkin ring! http://www.weddingmountain.com/p-7131-silver-plated-diamond-ring-napkin-rings.aspx

Woodland_Faerie and I are sort of crafty soul sisters so we did another personal swap. This time it was for dolls. I made her Autumn Rae ( she has her own post) and she made me Lady Wilde the Goddess.
Here is a group shot of all the goodies. The Goddess doll, raven prayer flag, 2 holed stone necklaces, ivy in resin pendant, holed stone earrings, polyclay tree of life key chain, and her original inspiration sketch for the doll.

A close up of the prayer flag. She has made me 2 now. She promises one each time we swap so I can have a whole set! Smiley

Close up of Lady Wilde's beautiful face.

The goddess resting in the clover.

And meditating amongst the violas.

Thanks woodland_faerie! Until next time! Wink

Wow! I love the raven prayer flag, what a gorgeous design, and how amazingly beautiful is Lady Wilde? I just adore all the detail, and her face is so well done.

Hi
SewHelpMe  and me were partners in the mini art quilt swap!
We were supposed to swap just the quilt and no extras, but we agreed to swap a fabric ATC as well!
So I made this fabric ATC for my swap partner SewHelpMe !!

This was my first ever ATC.  I stamped the fairy on white fabric and cut her out.  Then stamped her again on pink fabric and cut out just her dress.  Then I satin stitched her on a black background.
I  hand embroidered her shiny silver wings!

Here she is!

Then I signed the back

She looks like she is ready for a fancy fairytale ball!!

And here are the awesome fabric ATC's that SewHelpMe sent me!

Leaves for Autumn #1

And Leaves for Autumn #2

The backs

She also sent me 2 scrapbooking trends magazines and some card holder sleeves for my new collection!

And a cute handmade card!

I definately got the better part of our swap!  I really didn't know or expect her to send so many extras!
Thank you so much SewHelpMe!   :DI had a great time swapping with you!  You are an Awesome  partner!
