Hello to all Smiley Everyone's packages have been so wonderful in this swap!!
My partner received a few days ago but she is SUPER busy right now so ask if I could post pictures of her box so here goes. Smiley I would like to say she was super easy to craft for as I really liked all of her subjects too. She had Trees, leaves, circles, dragonflies and small birds.
Here is her over all package

For trees I saw this paper cutting on her wist and just happened to know where to get it from. My best friend is a paper cutting nut so I am on the look out for her all the time. So this one was just purchased and I would never have the patience or talent to do this. Smiley

Next is leaves. I really like how this turned out if I do say so myself. I used homespun yarn to embroider. It ended up making the fern look real to me at least. It is not so easy to embroider with. If you want to try it just use small strands at a time. It goes really fast though because it is so big. I crocheted the border with just a half double.

The back is brown corduroy

Next was circles. I saw a purse almost like this on her wist and that was my inspiration. The bag itself is felted wool from a recycled sweater. The circles are wool felt, velvet and leather. The centers are vintage buttons.

Next was dragonflies. I stained this book box with pickle stain several time and then wood burned the design. Then I went back and added the drawing and color with oil pencil.

The sides and bottom are gold and there is tiny gold accents on the front and side as well. None of these pictures showed the colors quite right.

Last was small birds. I found this really pretty bird fabric early on so I made her two bags. One is a Japanese sling bag. Made with the bird fabric and recycled jeans. The other is a grocery bag.

sorry about the side ways picture guys. Smiley

Last was just a few extras that I found

I did make the bookmarks though and added the leaf and dragonfly to each of them to match her choices. Smiley
It was so much fun crafting for you Lisa and I am very happy you liked it all. Smiley

I meant what I said and I said what I meant, an elephant's faithful 100%. Horton

The fern does look real, I was amazed.

Penny: Oh, wow! A girl scientist!

The fern pillow and the dragonfly book are amazing.  So is the tree cut out.  Great things.
