Because I love flying helmets and I love making hats out of polar fleece with dino spikes. I'm bringing these with me to fan expo at the end of august, but also want a bit of feedback for now ;]

so yes, feedback appreciated.

They're just peachy! I think I may try my hand at an aviator cap this week.

Fan expo?

Fan Expo is a convention that happens here the last weekend of August. It's reasonably large and draws a rather good cross section of nerdery since it's a multi-themed convention (anime, sci-fi, comic, horror and gaming).

What great hats!
I love how funky they are...the angles are fantastic and the circular ear pieces balance it out really nicely.
I've got to get some polar fleece to play with Grin
Cheers!

P.S your head model is super cute too!

I'm absolutely in love with these hats! I love the colors and the spikes. My favorite has to be the black and gray one. I would totally don one of these.

Thanks! The face on her is done with india ink. Polar fleece is my favourite. It's forgiving like stretch fabric and felt together ;]

These are on my etsy as well ;]

I don't think it's courage as much as liking the unusual thing you want to wear more than you care what people think about it.

I wish I had one of these to wear when I visit family in colder climes this winter!
I definitely like the more subdued colors better, but mostly because I could never rock something so awesome as the rainbow one  Cheesy

I really like the more subdued colors, too. These are really neat! I'd like to see more contrast topstitching, maybe, for more interest?

I had a hat just like this when I was little, it was purple and had rainbow horns. I loved that hat, it doesn't fit me anymore  Cry. These are awesome. The last one is especially cute.
