Well, I'm new and I don't really know how to write these things. Hi. I don't have any witty statements...so here are a couple of reconstructed t-shirts I've done in the past.

The first I made out of a Goodwill find, in the kid's section. I love the little fish on it, he reminds me of Flounder from The Little Mermaid.

The second I made out of what used to be my old b-ball shirt. Our school is very poor, so they were just t-shirts and we looked like soccer players in them. The boys uniforms were the same and one year a friend of mine for Halloween wore his uniform with shin guards-- he was a soccer player- yeah, I'm done rambling. But it was funny.

We're talented and bright, we're lonely and uptight. We've found some lovely ways to disappoint...

I was going to post a picture of the back for you after I read this, but I no longer have the digital camera I took the pictures with, I borrowed it from my grandpa. The front and back are cut the same, but the back doesn't have the scuba thing, but it does have this little "Vineyard Community Church" thing on the back. It was actually the front, but I liked the back better and turned it around.

Is it bunched like the front? Like, does the ribbon go through it?

Yes, it is bunched like the front and yes, it goes through it, kind of like a drawstring. Here's a tute that might help better explain.

1st
Size the shirt to fit
2nd
Cut out like this on both the front and back
3rd
Fold over and turn inside out
4th
Sew down folded part, leaving space (like a draw string)
5th
Slide random ribbon through both front and back and tie.
