These are darling!  I would love to make a pair of them.  The next time I'm at the craft store, I think I'm going to give this tutorial a try!  Thanks for sharing!

these are lovely, i'd probably use leather, and some cork for the sole

Just saw this and WOW!!! Not sure where you are located, but have you considered getting Flip Flops from the dollar store? Cut off the buttons that hold on the straps and instant sole! I have done this for my kids and grandsons slippers and it works, I would be afraid the floor tiles would make them slip and fall! Roll Eyes
