Since the first two rounds of the Dollar Store Challenge were so popular, we decided to go for a Round 3!

Oh, dollar store fun!  You never know what craziness you're going to find in those random aisles.  Your challenge this month is to make something fabulous, and hopefully totally unexpected, out of items you buy at a dollar store that cost a total $10 or less.

You can also use traditional craft supplies glue, thread, etc., but the main focal point of the project should be what you buy at the dollar store.

If you're not located in the U.S., you can spend the equivalent of $10 USD in your own currency.

Rules:

• Post your craft during the period of Sep 1 - Sep 5 2009. No sooner.  No later. On Sep 1 there will be a special folder created for entries.
• Voting will happen from Sep 6 - Sep 12 2009.
• Each participant can enter ONE project (Although your entry can have multiple components to it).

Originality:

It's probably impossible to know whether your project is 100% original and has never been posted on Craftster or made by anyone else in the past.  But if your project was definitely inspired by something you've seen before, then just give credit to that project.

Prizes:

At the end, I'll set up a poll right here and the first place winner will get...

(1) their project in the Featured Projects area
(2) their project in the Craftster Blog

One question- is this limited to things at the Dollar Store, or can we use things from the dollar aisle at places like Target? I have several dollar stores, so it won't be a problem for me, but I've seen that question in the past.
