Details of swap:

Do you love the cooler weather and like to have cozy things and MAKE cozy FIBER MADE things? Well then this is the swap for you!
This will be a swap where one makes something awesome for their partner using one of the fiber methods, Crochet, Knit, Woven, or Felted (wet or needle or combination), for the cooler months with their partners interest in mind!

The requirement is ONE LARGE item.any extras will be up to partners. Since it takes a while to make large fiber items, we have allowed a two month crafting period so everyone can go at a good pace, do their best work for their partner, and have FUN!
Your partner will give you a list of ideas, but here are a few for ideas for larges   shawl, a winter set (hat, scarf, mitts), set of slippers/socks, hat with matching fiber made necklace or rings, amigurumi to snuggle up with, a sweater if you are really brave lol, or an afghan, the list is endless with your imagination and your partners helpful hints!

I am requiring everyone to post or PM at least once a week to keep in the loop and so no one will have to worry since its such a long crafting period and no one needs to be falling off the map so to speak. No one wants to worry with flakers and non communication makes a red flag go up. If you decide to be in this swap, you MUST communicate!
Communication-or lack thereof, late sending (which should not be an issue with such a Long crafting period), or failure to follow craftster rules will all be recorded in feedback.

The only thing I know how to make out of fibre is a hooked rag rug.  Probably doesn't qualify.

I would love a rag rug (it's been on my to-do list for a million years).  Want to trade for some crocheted-ness pinokeeo?  (an aside, it took about a year of seeing your name and your icon before I figured out how it would be pronounced, yes, I am an idiot)

Anyway, I forgot to go to the post office on Friday (actually I forgot it was Friday) so I'm holding off on joining this swap until I can mail my late OWS package on Tuesday (darn these holiday weekends), but then I will be back.

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley

the more the merrier! Grin
Sunspotted and Pixieval, I hope you both decide to join us!

and SUnspotted, if you can talk pinokeeo into joining and your allergies and mailing preferences match up we will see what we can do about that rag rug! Cheesy

I am going to try to match people up first by allergies and then by mailing, then if i can, i will match up according to things they would like versus what the others like to make. SO I will do what i can gals! Smiley

I am super excited!!! Grin  (we really need a dancing smiley! lol)
