OMG.  The bag and the quilt are awesome.  I have a big stack of denim squares that I have been saving for a project like this.

Here's where I got the pattern for the jean quilt.  It's not double layered denim, it's single.  And I just used a cereal bowl for the templet.  I'm working on another small circle quilt now for my daughter, It's going to be bed size and have over 400 small circles.  I think these quilts would be perfect for picnics or for cold nights.

I didn't use 2 layers of denim either.  I used cheapy $1/yd fabric from my stash for the circle linings.  (Some use muslin)  It wasn't going to show so I didn't care what it looked like.  Great use for ugly fabric.  Smiley
