Hello everyone!  This is my second project I've posted on Craftster.  The first was a crocheted 7x7ft Raccoon Mario rug that sits in our livingroom.  I wanted to keep the Mario theme going since our bathroom has these wall decals already, so I  decided to make a large Question Mark Block ottoman slipcover!

What's inside! Coin? Extra life? Leaf? And how does a leaf turn Mario into a Raccoon, and how does it make him fly... Cheesy

Close up to show that the shadow is cut out from the yellow background with black showing from behind.

Ottoman and Rug side by side

This project was moderately easy but was difficult at times, because I have never worked with vinyl fabric before.  I bought a non-stick presser foot for my machine especially for this!  I hope it turned out okay.  I actually threw it in the trash because I wasn't happy with how it was coming along.  But the bf rescued it and said I should finish it since I was almost done with the project.  So I fixed the imperfections that drove me insane and finished up the slipcover for him   Wink

Any comments are welcome, I'd love to know what you guys think!  Thanks very much for looking.

Seriously... how does one leaf do that? I never did figure that out.

I love it! So much, seriously, and I love the rug and I also love that you have the wall decals. I'm going to show my sister this and she'll probably freak out. Great job. I'm so thankful your bf rescued it.
