That's such a cute outfit, but that pic makes it even better. Thanks for giving me my daily dose of adorable Smiley I've always thought the wee ones look waaaay too cute in hats but it seems like they don't share the sentiment. We always used a bobbypin (dipped in acrylic paint on the ends to make sure that there were no pokey bits) but my niece always had a CRAZY amount of hair so that may or may not work out for you.

Edited to add: I like the idea of the stretchy band, I've seen a number of baby hats with that. I can understand why you'd be worried though, perhaps removing it when she's in the car or situations where you can't always watch her?
