I saw an idea for a hanging spice rack/organizer/craft stuff keeper somewhere... just nailing the caps into a base, screwing on the bottles and affixing the base to the bottom of an overhanging cupboard or shelf. you can do this with any size bottle, especially wide mouth jars.
I guess it could also help people like me who never put things back where they belong! Cheesy

I like firerocks idea of painting the bottle so it has a stained glass look, but how would you do that? Would you paint the outside with like watered- down acrylic paint? Thanx

I made an oil lamp out of one. I painted the outside of the bottle and decoupaged some pictures on it. Painted the lid and poked a hole in it to put the wick in. I bought the lamp wicks on ebay.

If you've got a few boards, you can make bookshelves, with two of the bottles as spacers at each ond of each board.  (An update on the classic board and concrete block bookshelves.)

Paint or not, both the shelves and the bottles.

as far as the candles go, i know michael's sell's blocks of scents (which i find MUCH easier to handle than oils) and you basically just shave off pieces of the blocks into the melted wax, stir it up and pour it into bottles. i think they're like 199 a piece and they're fairly small but will make a decent amount of candles.

good luck Cheesy

This is a great idea with tutorial that someone posted in April. I plan on doing it myself when I get my bottle stash built up!

You could also do what people do with corona bottles.  Line them up and put christmas lights in them.

I like the milk bottle vase idea, too - could be a really cute gift!
