I am giving complete and total credit for these to PetalMixer. Totally my inspiration to try it.

I am NOT a trinket or jewelry person. I sew. But I absolutely LOVE what you guys do. I am in love with the tree of life pendants and of course, the kanzashi.

So, here are my first 3.  I sewed them rather than glued, then hot glued them to the frame and used fabric covered pennies for the centers.

Ahhh I'm thrilled!  I'm so happy to pass kanzashi love on ♥♥♥

What a great idea for the fabric covered pennies!  And do you know what's funny...I have that black/pink/green fabric!!  One of my earlier kanzashi used that fabric, as a gift for my MIL.  It's a small world  Cheesy

I made a dress of the same fabric. I am going to attach the double layered one to a resin chopstick to wear in my hair with it.

These are great. I tried my first the other day, it came out ok, but I didn't really have anything to put in the middle. Thanks for the penny idea, it's genius!

Those are so cute. I have never attempted Kanzashi before, but seeing these makes me want to try. >.<

i gotta say that i tried the glue method and they did not turn out well for me...messy messy.

I am not good with glue. This is just me.

I am, and will probably always be, much more comfortable with a thread and needle.

Sewing the petals was the ticket for me.  I also found I could lay in bed and sew them while watching tv much easier than trying to handle glue....this was me. HOWEVER, if you sew them, starch the snot outta them first.
