another thought.....  perhaps what people find "creepy" is the intensity and wildness of this piece.... he gives me butterflies in that intensely powerful way the dark woods do... does that make sense??  i agree, something dreamy with this god, not only because of the 'dreamcatcher' quality of his antlers, but because, to me, he evokes that 'wild, uncomfortableness' that one can approach in dreams- dreams are the expression of one's psyche, can be a way to reach one's true nature and battle one's deamons (so to speak) and dream interpretation is all about getting to that meat- which can be intimidating, and is frightening if you are not ready to deal with it...  hmmm......  this has got me pondering on different levels than i usually get from craftster....  thank you  Smiley

Have you thought about putting black around the model's eyes the way they do for carnival (at least in Venice)?

It really adds to the intensity of the thing.

It reminds me of the forest god in Princess Monanoke

This god has a very mysterious quality about it, as if it is a wild creature that no one knows much about and hears legends of. I like it!

I know that you're going for a god theme, but somehow it really reminds me of a zelda character. I'm sorry that I am so unhelpful.
