I made this purse as a final for a printmaking class I took. It is made out of two old leather jackets, I cut up and pieced together. I modified an ancient egyptian lotus design to print on the front and the back of the purse. The printing style is a collagraph. The top of the purse opens with a zipper.

Thanks for looking!

Really pretty. And I like the shape. It's not a common shape for handbags, I think.

Did you line the inside?

I like Egyptian symbols, jewellery etc very much.  You hit this one right out of the ballpark!  Great design and sewing skills.  Sounds like a terrific course.

Thanks everyone! I didn't line the inside...at first i didn't want to, but now i think it would have made it better. I might go back and try to line in the future.
