Ever get photos of the finished project and your husbands reaction? That is such a great quilt and you are ace for doing the quilting by hand!!!

It's not done yet.  Embarrassed  My anniversary is in a week and I'm about 10-15% finished with the quilting. I've just been so busy with everything else the past few weeks (this time of year is always super-busy for me, and I don't even have school-related worries!), I haven't been able to do much with it. I will definitely post pictures the  very day I get it done.  Smiley

Even though it's not done, I showed my husband the results of my clandestine crafting last night. (Our anniversary is today, but yesterday was very stressful  Cry and we both needed some cheering up.) He loved it! His jaw kind of dropped and I got a big bear hug!  Cheesy And, he totally understood why it wasn't quite done!  It will probably be at least another month before it's complete, what with parties and weddings and birthdays (that I craft gifts for) coming up. But, it should be done in time for the cool weather.  Wink Here's a couple more pictures of the quilting:

On the front, you can see a bit of the batting stuck to my thread, hence the little fuzzies around the stitches.  Cheesy

Thanks for looking! Again!  Grin

Nice!  I am planning to hand-quilt a quilt I am making for our bed - this gives me a little hope that I could possibly get it done!  But I will need to get moving on it, as I'd like to have it done before it gets chilly!  I'd love to see the finished product!

Wow I love the quilt!  The colours are beautiful!  We share a wedding day and also a hurricane honeymoon too!  I was in Cuba for Hurricane Ivan/Jeanne too!  Small world - big quilt.  Love it!

Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
The circles of the quilt look like the ripples of the raindrops in the puddles caused by the hurricane!
