The world of reality TV has just gone too far or they've really run out of ideas.

I honestly think this is the stupidest, but funniest show idea ever.  I would totally watch crafty people battling it out in a throw pillow competition.  Plus, the producers worked on the daily show, so it should be really funny.

Um...I actually want to see this but I don't think we get that channel up here (I live in Canadia, eh?)

Think about it...a unknown object that has to be made of materials only given to them when the show starts and putting a time limit on the thing.  You have to be super creative to think something up and put it together.  It could be interesting to see what the people come up with, well, at the very least it would be fun to groan if someone does something REALLY awful. Shocked

Hi, craftsters, I had a day off from school, and I turned on the tv to Style, and what did I find?  Craft Corner Deathmatch.  Could any of you tell me what exactly the point to it is?  Also, if you've been on it, post here.  I would love to know.

Hey, super geek, I saw it and think it's got a lot of potential. It's basically a fish-out-of-water theme with a craff-off set in a "cage match" kind of style. It doesn't take itself too seriously, and the how-to segment was pretty interesting. There was a NY Times article last week that described it pretty well.

I'll be watching this Wednesday.

Yeah, we saw it this week, too. Hilarious! My husband did a LOT of eye-rolling, as he is wont to do with anything craft related.

I caught this for the first time over the weekend and LOVED it.  I also especially liked the "this is what they might have made if they didn't have only ten minutes and a screaming audience to deal with" segment and the "history of rhinestones" piece.  There are CLEARLY some very hip and clever craftsters behind the scenes working on this show.  I encourage anyone who thinks they would hate it to take a look and give it a chance - it is HILARIOUS.  Little touches like the planeted guys in the audience high-fiving and belly-bumping like they're at a pro-wrestling match are great.
