Crazy?!?!  Who are you calling crazy, Lady L?  haha.

(I spy more bacon.  Now I want to make bacon Christmas ornaments to go with my mustache ones.  Yes, totally off topic, I know.   Wink Cheesy )

Not really. Your mustaches were my first foray into felt fun! Say that four times fast! Seriously, it was those little mustaches that started all of this! You are the culprit! You and that wist of yours!

I believe it was a project posted here on craftster... maybe not... I kinda have a thing for mustaches.  weird- yes, harmless- of course.  And only crafted ones.  Lady L and I met in a Holiday swap last year and she spoiled me rotten and the mustache ornaments were part of the spoiling.  (and then I believe she made bunches for friends and family.)

As a group (From Lady L):  Notice Lips, Mustache and 'Santa' Beard  Wink

On my second born (From Lady L):

I have even received more of these ornaments and other mustache goodies from other swaps.  I am easy... send me a mustache and I am a happy lady:

I received from koalascout an adorable lunchsack with a Sunny D juice, a real fruit rollup and a bologna sandwhich with cheese and honey!

And that's not all!  She also sent this amazing "felt food making kit"!!  It has scissors with a retractable clippy-thingy, a choptick with interchangeable charms (the chopstick is for stuffing the food!), a container with tiny pins and a mini pincushion on top, chalk, and a needlebook (which I needed desperately!).  Thanks koalascout!

I also received from Mrs.LindsayLoo!  I got this super ute BLt with a little sack!

I love the little bees on the medicine bottle pin cushion! Thank you again for my kit koalascout! I used the ring pincushion, the scissors and the chopstick yesterday!

Sorry it took so long for this picture...
the bologna sandwich lunch I received from Koalascout on Thursday.

it also came with a real fruit roll up too, however that has been compromised, before I could get the picture.  Sorry about that.

By the way those mustaches are awesome!

The Bacon.  Here is how I created them, like I said it is really easy.
1) I just started out by cutting strips out of the felt. I would sometimes trim up the ends to how I think bacon should look.
2) Cut out small thin pieces of white or cream felt.
3) then I used similar colored floss.
4) if you notice on the bacon the white pieces line up on both sides.
5) then started at the top and kind of hid the knot on the white and started with the running stitch to attach the white pieces on.  I just pulled extra tight in a few spots and then that is how I created the crispy like look.

I suppose I could of just said that I attached the white pieces with the running stitch; but, really what fun would that have been.  Smiley

Hope I explained it okay.
