Hi all,
Recently I danced in a ballet show, and the rules of the place where I take lessons is that every student has to buy their own costumes. So, I have been left with these two gorgeous tutus! The problem is I'm not really sure what to do with them. One is light blue with a traditional sort of floofy "tabletop" skirt which sticks out above my butt, and the other is black with a long black net skirt. I had an idea for turning the black one into a sort of prom dress like this one: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=294067.0 but so far I'm not really sure how and what to do with them! Any help?

Many thankies  Smiley

P.s If I turned the black one into a dress like the one I linked to, I would need to put some kind of boning and/or padding into the soft Lycra bodice, as I don't think it would hold up all that floofy extra netting! what would you recommend?

When i read "tutu" i immediately thought of this (http://www.burdastyle.com/creations/show/19655) dress/thing that i saw a couple of days ago Cheesy I don't know how wearable it would be, but just an idea!

Omg I love that! so cute. I'm pretty sure I could turn my blue one into something like that.... Thanks!

Stick it under a dress and call it a petticoat? I don't know what it looks like, but you could always get a tank top and sew it to the tutu, and call it an outfit. 8D?
